DRAM, flash and module prices
Access required
Full access opens every Memory dataset and the memory indices, with history, exports and API keys.
Get Full AccessThe memory class tracks spot prices for DRAM, NAND flash and finished memory modules, settled daily in USD on weekdays. These are the component costs that set the floor under AI accelerator hardware and, through it, GPU rental rates, so the memory series sit beside the OCPI as the cost side of the rental price. The tracked parts are commodity server memory (DDR3, DDR4, DDR5, SLC and MLC flash, DIMMs); high-bandwidth memory is not tracked.
DRAM (DDR3, DDR4, DDR5), NAND flash (SLC, MLC) and memory modules (DIMMs), each as its own daily series; the full catalog is listed at data.ornn.com/docs/supported-types. Headline values and history are part of a subscription; the list of tracked types is public.
Memory is one of the component costs under every accelerator server, so a move in DRAM or flash spot prices feeds into the hardware cost that GPU rental rates have to recover. Reading the memory series beside the OCPI shows the cost side of the rental price.
Yes, with a subscription. The REST API and MCP server expose the current memory spot prices, the price history per type and the list of tracked memory types; the endpoints are documented at data.ornn.com/docs/memory-index.
