Which power markets are tracked?

Seven US hubs: six ICE peak products (Mid-C, PJM, CAISO, ISO-NE, Palo Verde, MISO) and ERCOT day-ahead, each with a daily wholesale price; hourly load and fuel mix are part of the Full tier. The hub list and fields are documented at data.ornn.com/docs/power-markets.

How does the power price affect the cost of a GPU-hour?

A GPU server draws a roughly fixed load, so the electricity cost of a GPU-hour is the wholesale price at that hub times the hardware's power draw and the facility's overhead. The datasets let a reader price that term for a chosen hub and set it beside the rental index.

Can I pull power prices from the API?

Yes, with a subscription. The REST API and MCP server expose the list of tracked power markets, the latest snapshot and the daily history per hub; the endpoints are documented at data.ornn.com/docs/power-markets.
